People’s Store BANGERS 2025 – BMX Freestyle Film Festival Recap

People’s Store BANGERS 2025 – BMX Freestyle Film Festival Recap

The People’s Store BANGERS Freestyle Film Festival 2025 marked the 10th edition of our BMX video contest. From the very beginning, BANGERS has been a People’s Store project, created with the clear goal of supporting and connecting the German and European BMX scene through creativity, riding and filmmaking.

What started as an idea within our shop and local BMX community has grown into an established platform for riders and filmmakers across Europe. BANGERS is and remains our event, driven by People’s Store, and we are fully committed to continuing this project in the future as a platform for BMX culture, video projects and creative expression.

The 2025 edition took place on September 27, 2025, at Mr. Wilson Skatehalle in Kassel, together with the Last Stand Jam warm-up session earlier in the day. Riders, filmmakers and BMX fans came together for a full day of riding, video premieres and strong community energy.

We would like to sincerely thank Freedom BMX for their ongoing support and help with the organization and coverage of BANGERS 2025. Their contribution plays an important role in keeping BMX culture visible and connected across Germany and Europe.

We also extend our gratitude to all sponsors who helped support this year’s event: Vans, éclat, Kink BMX, wethepeople, Sunday Bikes, Odyssey, Cult, Alive Industry, Primo and everyone who believed in the vision of BANGERS. Your support helps keep BMX projects alive and everyone riding.

#onebang2025 – Single Trick Category

With #onebang2025, we introduced a new category focused on single-trick clips submitted via Instagram. This format emphasized raw riding and creativity and added a fresh dynamic to the festival.

The final #onebang2025 riders were: Adrian Warnken, Fabian Bongers, Bernhard Ebner, Jure Faganel and Tim Güntner.

More Than a Contest

BANGERS is not just about winning — it’s about BMX culture and community. Together with the Last Stand Jam, the event offered space for riding, exchange and connection. This reflects exactly what People’s Store stands for: supporting BMX beyond products by creating platforms for the scene.

Looking Ahead

A big thank you to all riders, filmmakers, sponsors and everyone who supported People’s Store BANGERS 2025. Your passion, creativity and dedication are what make this project possible.

BANGERS will continue — by People’s Store, for the BMX scene in Germany and Europe.
