FLY Bikes Magneto CrMo Hub Set

Complete Magneto hub set from flybikes: the Magneto cassette rear hub plus the matching Magneto front hub. Both hubs have heat-treated chromoly female axles – the rear one with a 10 mm (3/8") drive-side bolt and a 14 mm section for the dropouts. No pegs on the drive side. The Magneto rear hub uses Fly's magnetic engagement: two neodymium magnets push the ratchet ring into place with an even force, so it engages perfectly straight and with less friction than springs – and the magnets keep their strength pretty much forever. Fast, reliable, durable, with a pretty unique sound. With only one moving part it's super easy to service and saves weight. Instead of aluminium, the end caps are heat-treated chromoly – stiff and wobble-free over time – and CNC machined inside and out to stay light. The 7075 aluminium shell has recessed spoke holes like Fly's Classic front hub, and the driver, caps and bolts get an anti-rust treatment that also gives them a great colour finish. Made in Europe.
