Die Kink Bike Company wurde 1994 in Rochester, NY, von dem 16-jährigen Fahrer und Inhaber Zack Phillips gegründet, als er den Bedarf an robusteren Teilen erkannte. Kink ist das erste von Fahrern geführte BMX-Bike-Unternehmen, das sich auf Teile und Zubehör konzentriert.
