The Kink Desist II Brake Kit is a complete, high-performance BMX brake setup built around the updated Desist II brake arms with Kool-Stop Supra 2 pads, the Restrain II lever, and Kink’s Linear brake cable. Forged and CNC-machined brake arms deliver superior stiffness, while the unique cable pivot and straddle cable system provide a smoother, more powerful pull with excellent modulation. Oversized bushings keep coil springs centered for maximum tyre clearance, and updated pivots are secured with C-clips for dependable long-term performance.

The Restrain II lever refines the original design with a cleaner look and improved functionality. Fully forged aluminium lever, body, and bracket maximise strength and stiffness. A low-profile, finger-friendly shape and ergonomic lever blade feel comfortable in both one- and two-finger use. Oversized hinge joints and pins add durability, and the barrel adjuster improves tuning and compatibility for straight cable or gyro setups. The included Linear cable uses linear-strand housing to reduce bind when the cable twists during tricks, with a smooth-ground 1.5mm inner cable for a drag-free pull. All necessary hardware for front, rear, or dual-cable gyro installations is included.
