ÉCLAT CONTRA PEDAL

When designing the Contra pedal, eclat faced the challenge of keeping the pedal profile thin without compromising on the strength of the pedalaxle. Instead of using an off-the-shelf pedal axle , eclat developed its own variant that uses a smaller bearing and cage, but the axle is thicker closer to the crank arm where the greatest strength is needed. The end result is a super-flat pedal with an axle that can withstand the toughest conditions.
