General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded exclusively with consumers between Uprail GmbH, trading as “People’s Store”, and customers via the online shop www.peoplesstore.de and all associated subdomains.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
Conflicting or deviating terms and conditions of the customer shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to submit an order.
By completing the checkout process and submitting an order, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the goods contained in the shopping cart.
The contract is concluded when we accept the order by sending an order confirmation by email or by dispatching the goods.
The contract language is English.
3. Prices
All prices displayed in the online shop include statutory VAT applicable in Germany. Shipping costs and any additional charges are shown separately during checkout.
4. Payment
The payment methods available to the customer are displayed during checkout. These may include PayPal, credit card payments, Klarna, Sofortüberweisung and other payment methods offered via Shopify Payments.
We reserve the right to exclude individual payment methods in specific cases.
5. Delivery
Delivery is carried out by selected shipping and logistics partners.
Delivery times stated in the online shop are non-binding estimates and depend on product availability and delivery destination.
The risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the customer or to a person authorised to receive them.
6. Retention of Title
Goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are provided in our separate Withdrawal Policy.
8. Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages resulting from intent or gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health.
In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) and limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
10. Applicable Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
This choice of law applies only insofar as mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence are not overridden.
11. Severability Clause
If individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
